Kuwaiti Daily 'Al-Siyassa': Bin Laden, Al-Zawahiri Guarded by Iranian Troops in Iranian Territory

No. 3003 - June 7, 2010

The Kuwaiti daily Al-Siyassa reported on June 7, 2010, that Osama bin Laden, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, and five other high-ranking Al-Qaeda figures have been hiding for five years in the mountains of Sabzevar, a city in Khorasan province in northeastern Iran (220 km west of Mashhad).

According to Al-Siyassa, the information, which came from a source linked directly to Iranian security apparatuses, was that bin Laden and Al-Zawahiri had entered Sabzevar at the invitation of Iran and through the mediation of Lebanese Hizbullah.

Note:  Does the Kuwati Daily receive the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS reward for finding Bin Laden?  Or, does that come after the American drones/troops find and kill him/them?  Oh, wait, our troops are now told they receive medals for "restraint" ... hmm!  Maybe we could find this group of Islamic terrorists, bring them all back to the U.S.; READ THEM THEIR RIGHTS, OFFER THEM ATTORNEYS AND GIVE THEM ALL TRIALS COURTESY OF THE USA.

Welcome to the Osama-Obama Generation

By Judi McLeod

imageWelcome to the Osama-Obama opening chapter along the March to Marxism.

As the chapter opens we find Osama and Obama on the same page. Both terrorist and president are on the same page on global warming. You don’t have to be CIA to ask the obvious question: “How is this even possible?

Both parties know diddly squat about orchestrated man-made global warming, other than what is spoon fed to them by Al Gore and Company.

Fresh on the heels of the news that Osama worries—really worries—about global warming, comes the news that airline terror suspect, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, aka the “Underwear Bomber” is providing “key intelligence” to investigators.

This is the tawdry tale of a wannabe terrorist ratting out his terrorist pals.

“Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s cooperation could prove to be a national security victory and a political vindication for President Obama, who has been under fire from lawmakers who contend the administration botched the case by giving Abdulmutallab the right to remain silent, rather than interrogating him as a military prisoner.” (Associated Press, Feb. 3, 2010).

Seems that Obama has been doing more than plastering his personal pictures where valuable White House art used to be.

An administration run by czars and hippies sworn to Marxism is capable of most anything as long as it is allowed to operate behind the scenes.

Just one day before the Underwear Bomber emerged as a “national security victory” and a “political vindication for President Obama”, Dennis C. Blair, Obama’s director of national intelligence put us on notice that Al Qaeda and its affiliates may attempt a large-scale attack on America before July.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Al Qaeda is “certain” to try an attack soon.

What took them so long? The authorities that is, not the terrorists.

The terrorists, building their very own camps for target practice on American soil, have been right under the authorities’ noses all along, in fact they were there even before 9/11.

Without intervention of any kind, terrorists have been actively recruiting for new members on the Internet and among prison populations.

When former President George W. Bush, (George W, The Hated) tried to deal with terrorists, he was slammed with accusations of water boarding and other “cruelties”.

Now they get their Miranda rights read to them, the right to remain silent, and the prospect of show trials in major American cities with the same kind of publicity potential as an O.J. Simpson. The Johnny Cochrans and Marcia Clarks are waiting in the wings.

The story being spun by the new Marxist regime in the White House is that foiled terrorist attacks, nine years in the making, are being stopped by Obama within the first year of his presidency.

According to the spin, all dufus terrorists start to sing like proverbial canaries. Diplomacy is so much better than waterboarding, right?

Even to the present day, a politically correct media and authorities do not name perps. Passengers on airflights who witness “dry runs” are instructed to stay Mum.
It should be a new more terrifying kind of terrorism now that Obama and Osama are singing from the same page of the hymnal and are on the same wave length on UN-inspired Marxist tactics like Global Warming is going to kill you!

In all the astroturfing being heaped on the masses from ivory towers it should be prudent to keep in sight the facts.

From 9/11 to now the facts have always been there to see. Factoid 1: Dead or alive, Osama bin Laden is evil incarnate. Factoid 2: The current resident in the Oval Office is a Marxist with an agenda to destroy America.

Volatile as any match near a tinder box, Marxism and Terrorism are a potent and deadly combination.

Terrorist attempt ‘certain’ in months

- Eli Lake, Washington Times

The five senior leaders of the U.S. intelligence community told a Senate panel Tuesday they are “certain” that terrorists will attempt another attack on the United States in the next three to six months.

The warning came during the annual threat briefing to Congress in response to questions from Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat and chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, who asked, “What is the likelihood of another terrorist-attempted attack on the U.S. homeland in the next three to six months? High or low?”

“An attempted attack, the priority is certain, I would say,” Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair, a retired admiral, said in response.

Osama bin Laden, Climate Expert

By Alan Caruba

imageTo the world’s experts on climate change, let us now add the name of Osama bin Laden to those of Al Gore; UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon; the Chairman of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Rajendra Pachauri; numerous heads of state over the years; House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; members of Congress still trying to pass Cap-and-Trade legislation; and the odious IPCC scientists who apparently colluded to foist false data on the public in order to further the fraud of global warming.

This is, of course, a short list given the vast number of people who attended the recent UN Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen. It reportedly cost the taxpayers over a million dollars for the U.S. delegation and that does not include the cost of the President’s attendance. In his State of the Union speech, Obama received a chorus of laughter when he spoke of the “overwhelming evidence” of climate change.

Bin Laden is getting increasingly desperate in his appeals to the world’s Muslims and, in a recent audiotape, “he blamed the Western industrialized nations for hunger, desertification, and floods across the globe,” according to a report by the Associated Press.

Bin Laden’s real complaint, however, has always been that he cannot replace the Saudi royal family and control that nation’s oil and the revenues that flow from it. One of the many sons of a prominent Saudi family, bin Laden went off to aid the Afghans in their fight against the Soviet Union and, ironically, it was covert American weapons aid that made their victory possible.

He could have settled for being a hero of that conflict, but like so many egomaniacs, he decided to fight the crusades over again and all subsequent Western influence in the Middle East in the name of Islam.

A succession of terrorist attacks flowed from that decision. U.S. embassies in Africa were bombed, an American warship was attacked in Yemen, and the most spectacular attack was, of course, the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. A fourth plane was brought down by its passengers.

Americans seem to have forgotten that George W. Bush responded forcefully to 9/11 and to the threat of Saddam Hussein to the entire Middle East. This is in contrast to President Obama’s futile efforts to get the Iranian ayatollahs to cooperate. Dictators are not famous for being nice.

As the AP report noted, bin Laden has mentioned climate change and global warming in past messages, but his latest on January 29 was the first to focus on it as a major theme along with the need to destroy the American economy. With regard to the latter, he seems to be getting a lot of help from President Obama who has tripled U.S. debt during the past year.

The significance of his latest audiotape seems to be a belated effort to piggyback the global warming issue at the same time it is crashing and burning worldwide due to revelations that the data on which it was based was deliberately falsified.

Claims that Himalayan glaciers were melting were false and this was made known to the IPCC Chairman Pachauri two months before the Copenhagen conference, but he managed to wait until after the conference to publicly correct the IPCC report.

Bin Laden’s bad timing suggests that his campaign is losing support. It is almost comical that he would try to enlist the support of global warming diehards in his quest to overthrow the Great Satan, America, and the Little Satan, Israel, but there is nothing comical about his continued threat to the nation and the world.

The silence of Al Gore as the planet has cooled since 1998 suggests that even he knows that his self-enrichment plan is coming to an end. Only President Obama seems or pretends to be oblivious to the idiocy of cutting “greenhouse gas emissions” in the name of a planet that is not warming.

In this quest, Obama has now been joined by Osama.

Bin Laden: A hoax like the warming he champions

American Thinker.com
January 30, 2010
Jack Cashill

A January 29 Associated Press headline shouts without apparent irony, "Bin Laden Blames U.S. for Global Warming in New Tape." Under the headline is a photo of Osama bin Laden speaking into a microphone.

"Talk about climate change is not an ideological luxury but a reality," bin Laden told the world, at least as translated by Al Jazeera. "All of the industrialized countries, especially the big ones, bear responsibility for the global warming crisis."

At first glance, the photo -- in combination with a headline about a "tape" -- challenged my belief that bin Laden is long since dead. On closer inspection, however, I saw that the tape in question was an "audiotape" and that the photo in question was dated "October 7, 2001."

If anything, these two bits of inadvertent evidence strengthen the case that a breathing, badgering Osama is as much a charade as the global warming hysteria he now helps incite.

In fact, no reputable person has seen bin Laden alive since October 2001 when the photo in question was taken, that on the occasion of an interview by Al Jazeera. The audio and videotapes that he has allegedly made in the years since have convinced few outside the CIA.

National security guru Angelo Codevilla has argued persuasively that Osama died of pulmonary infection before the year 2001 was out. It was not until after his likely death that the so-called "confessional video," the first one in which he actually took credit for September 11, surfaced.

"The fact that the video had been made for no self-evident purpose except to be found by the Americans should have raised suspicions," Codevilla wryly observes.

That the video was accepted at face value can be traced to the CIA's institutional bias in favor of the idea of rogue agents and against that of state-sponsored terrorism.

This newly exhumed bin Laden fits the White House template even more nicely. In the last few weeks. Osama has not only endorsed the underwear bomber, but he now also hectors us for our lifestyle choices. These scoldings reinforce the willfully myopic Obama vision that the enemy is "Al Qaeda" and that its rage has been stoked by America's indifference to the world's resources.

Indeed, Obama has focused narrowly on Osama for years. "We will kill bin Laden. We will crush al-Qaeda. That has to be our biggest national security priority," so said candidate Obama during an October 7, 2008 presidential debate.

This comment reinforced those Obama had made six years earlier during his celebrated, October 2002, anti-Iraq speech in Chicago, the broadside that enabled him to flank Hillary to the left.

"You want a fight, President Bush? Let's finish the fight with Bin Laden and al-Qaeda," the then obscure Obama blustered six months before the Bush administration would launch its "dumb war" in Iraq.

For the next six years, most ambitious Democrats and the media embraced a pseudo-hawk position like Obama's. Iraq was a "distraction" from the real war on terror against al Qaeda and Bin Laden, a "diversion," a "sideshow."

After his election, Obama may have actually learned he had been blowing smoke. In a January 15. 2009 statement that should have gotten more attention than it did, he conceded that he was not sure "whether [bin Laden] is technically alive or not."

Technically?

Given that the party in power, the media, and the CIA all have a desperately vested interest in retelling the story that they have told America for the last eight years--especially after the Fort Hood massacre and the Christmas Day near bombing-- do not look for any revision in the story line.

And if "Osama" can do double duty shilling for Obama's global warming sleight-of-hand, all the better. The men behind the Osama curtain know a good hoax when they see one.

Bin Laden 'message' warns of fresh attacks

Cairo, January 25, 2010
First Published: 07:14 IST(25/1/2010)
Last Updated: 07:15 IST(25/1/2010)

An audiotape purportedly from Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden broadcast on al-Jazeera on Sunday warned the US will face fresh attacks if it does not change its foreign policy.

In the tape, addressed from "Osama to Obama", Bin Laden addressed US President Barack Obama, saying that the US would face further attacks if it did not stop its support for Israel.

The White House had no independent confirmation that the message was from bin Laden, but would study the tape, said Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett on NBC's Meet the Press interview programme on Sunday morning.

"We have no independent confirmation that that is in fact his voice but let's look at it," she said.

"The fact of the matter is that he is a murderer, he has attacked Americans and in fact he has killed more Muslims than any other group in the region. And so the president is committed to going after Al Qaeda and all of their affiliates and bringing them to justice."

The independent Washington-based Intel Center, which monitors terrorist activity, said the statement did appear to be a message from bin Laden, with its manner of release and content consistent with past messages from the terrorist leader.

Bin Laden said a Nigerian man's failed attempt to blow up an airplane over Detroit on Dec 25 was a message "reaffirming" the previous message that the heroes of (Sep 11, 2001) conveyed."

The Al Qaeda leader called Omar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who now faces charges of trying to blow up an aircraft by allegedly trying to ignite explosives in his underwear, a "hero".

"The United States can never dream of living in peace unless we live it in Palestine. It is unfair that you live in safety while our brothers in Gaza are suffering," Bin Laden said.

"Our attacks on you will continue as long as you continue to support Israel," he said.

Intel Center said the message's endorsement of the failed Christmas Day bombing "raises concerns that core Al Qaeda is supporting and encouraging regional arms and affiliates to conduct attacks on US soil while also continuing to plan its own larger 9-11 scale events. This greatly complicates the threat environment within the US as it diversifies the type and level of attacks that must be prepared for."

Al-Jazeera said the tape, the authenticity of which could not immediately be independently verified, had likely been recorded last month.

'Bin Laden' claims Christmas Day bomb plot

From Times Online
January 24, 2010
Adam Fresco

A new audio tape said to be from Osama Bin Laden that claims responsibility for the Christmas Day airline bombing attempt in Detroit has warned of further attacks against America.

The short recording purporting to be from the al-Qaeda leader, which was aired on Al Jazeera television, said: “The message delivered to you through the plane of the heroic warrior Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was a confirmation of the previous messages sent by the heroes of the September 11.”

On Christmas Day, Mr Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian national, allegedly attempted to blow up the Northwest Airlines flight he was sitting on as it approached Detroit Metro Airport. But the bomb he was said to have been hiding in his underwear failed to explode.

He told police shortly afterwards that he had been trained and instructed in the plot by al-Qaeda operatives in Yemen.

More than 60 messages have been broadcast by bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahri, al-Qaeda’s number two, and their allies since the September 11 attacks in 2001.

The tape was aired after MI5 raised the terrorist threat level in Britain from "substantial" to "severe" — meaning that counter-terrorism agencies believe that an attack is "highly likely".

It is believed that intelligence whispers from America that an al-Qaeda affiliated group is close to finalising another atrocity coupled with a conference on Yemen and Afghanistan in London this week led to the decision.

The measure was approved by the Government's Cobra emergency committee and announced by Alan Johnson, the Home Secretary, who said he wanted to emphasise that “there is no intelligence to suggest than an attack is imminent”.

David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, said today that it would be “very stupid” of him to comment on the intelligence behind the change in threat level.

“The fact is though that these people will stop at nothing; they will try every trick in the book, they will use advanced technology, they will use all the mechanisms of open society that we depend on for their own terrible purposes.

“And they will try to strike Christians, Muslims, Jews randomly.”

The Government had a responsibility to keep the terrorist threat to the UK “under very careful scrutiny”, he added.

“We think it’s right to keep the public informed about the general threat level.”

Mr Miliband said that the Christmas Day attack demonstrated “the links that can exist between different terrorist groups”.

But he told BBC One’s Andrew Marr Show that he would wait to see whether the tape was authentic.

“Let’s wait to see what he actually says; we know that the al-Qaeda senior leadership are in the badlands of the Afghan-Pakistan border, probably on the Pakistan side,” he said. “We know too that the Detroit attack was the first time that al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula, which is a sub-group of the al-Qaeda franchise ... represents an attack on the West rather than an attack within the Middle East.

“Let’s see what he says but it obviously demonstrates both the dangers that exist but also the links that can exist between different terrorist groups.”

Mr Miliband said that there was an important meeting about Yemen on Wednesday. The meeting in London, called by Gordon Brown, will be attended by representatives of the Yemeni Government, regional powers and Britain’s allies, probably including US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

It will come one day before a key conference in London on the future strategy of allied forces in Afghanistan, to be attended by President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan.

Federal agents did not read Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab his legal rights until nearly ten hours after he was arrested, it was reported today.

He is said to have freely admitted his role in trying to blow up the aircraft but then refused to answer any questions when finally given his Miranda warning providing his right to remain silent.

In an interview with the Associated Press unnamed officials said that the suspect spoke openly and in detail about what he had allegedly done and the planning that went into the attack.

Other counterterrorism officials speaking on condition of anonymity said that it was during this questioning that he allegedly admitted he had been trained and instructed in the plot by al-Qaeda operatives in Yemen.

Investigators are said to be allowed to question a suspect without providing a Miranda warning if they are trying to end a threat to public safety.

In a future trial in a federal court, AP reported, prosecutors would likely justify Mr Abdulmutallab's questioning without a Miranda warning by arguing that the FBI agents needed to know quickly if there were other aircrafts with other bombs headed for the United States.

FBI Issues Digital Mug Shot of Aging Bin Laden

This digitally enhanced image shows what a clean-shaven
Usama bin-Laden could look like today.

Friday, January 15, 2010
Fox News.com

Usama bin Laden has aged a little since he was last seen in September 2007 but has put on little or no weight in the arid surroundings of the Afghan-Pakistani border — that, at least, is the assumption made by FBI forensic artists as the agency continues its relentless search for the Al Qaeda leader.

Digitally enhanced photographs have been released showing how he might look today; one in his traditional outfit, the other showing him with trimmed beard and Western clothing.

The "age-progression images" were produced in the latest effort to find the elusive terrorist chief. FBI forensic artists modified bin Laden's facial features to show what they might look like today.

"It is our hope that these digitally enhanced images will help someone recognise these terrorist suspects and then contact the Rewards for Justice program with information that leads to their apprehension," Robert Eckert, assistant director for Diplomatic Security's Threat Information and Analysis Directorate, said.

Bin Laden's last 30-minute video released in 2007, which was itself released after an absence of three years, saw him sporting a trimmed beard rather than the straggly and seemingly unkempt appearance he seemed to be wearing in 2004.

Al Qaeda Reaches Out to Women

Zawahiri's Wife Releases Statement, Tells Women They Can Be Suicide Bombers
