US Mosques: Six Indicted in Pakistan Taliban Funding Plot
May 14th, 2011 | Author: Un:dhimmi
More proof (if it were needed) of what mosques are really for:
FBI agents arrested two of the suspects in Miami, an elderly Islamic religious leader and his son, also an imam, and a second son in Los Angeles.
Islam cannot be compared to other faiths, which are characterised mainly by a pacifist and benevolent outlook and the promotion of virtues such as personal discipline, education and communitarian values.
The liberal believes that a mosque is the equivalent of an Anglican, Orthodox or catholic church; or, say, a Hindu or Sikh temple – but they are not. But don’t take it from us – a quote from a poem once recited by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoǧan and a personal quotation of his both give the lie to liberal fairytales:

Federal authorities announce the indictment of six people for allegedly plotting to raise money to attack Americans and others overseas to bolster the Pakistani Taliban.
One of the three arrested is picked up in L.A., while three others are believed to be at large in Pakistan.
In the first case since the death earlier this month of Osama bin Laden, federal authorities announced Saturday that they have indicted six individuals, including one in Los Angeles, in a conspiracy to raise money to “murder, maim and kidnap” Americans and others overseas as part of a plot to bolster the Pakistani Taliban.
The suspect picked up in Los Angeles was identified as 37-year-old Irfan Khan. He lives in Miami, and it was not immediately known why Khan was in Los Angeles. The indictment states that Khan “is a Pakistani Taliban sympathizer who worked with [his father] and others to collect and deliver money for the Pakistani Taliban.
All were being held without bail until court appearances Monday in Miami and Los Angeles, when they are expected to respond to the charges. Three other defendants remained at large and are believed to be in Pakistan.
Officials said the suspects raised up to $45,000 and were linked to the Pakistani Taliban, the same group that recruited the would-be Times Square bomber in New York last year.
They also are alleged to have been deeply involved in assaults against U.S. interests abroad, such as the December 2009 suicide attack on a U.S. military base in Khost, Afghanistan, that killed seven CIA operatives just across the Pakistani border, and the April 2010 suicide bombing at the U.S. Consulate in Peshawar, Pakistan, that killed six Pakistani citizens.
According to the indictment, the six were charged with soliciting, collecting and transferring money from U.S. to supporters of the Taliban in Pakistan. They used bank accounts and wire transfers to move the funds, with the money intended to purchase guns and other weapons to further the Taliban’s efforts to overthrow the Pakistani government and attack Americans there.
The alleged ringleader, Hafiz Muhammed Sher Ali Khan, a 76-year-old U.S. citizen and imam at the Miami Mosque, sent more funds to support an Islamic madrassa school he founded and controlled in the Swat region of Pakistan. He also allegedly used the school to shelter militants and teach the “children from his madrassa to learn to kill Americans in Afghanistan.”
Authorities also picked up Hafiz Khan on a recording in which he reportedly discussed the attack at Khost, and declared his “wish that God kill 50,000 more.”
Hafiz Khan, said U.S. Atty. Wifredo A. Ferrer in Miami, “despite being an imam or spiritual leader, was by no means a man of peace. Instead he acted with others to support terrorists to further acts of murder, kidnapping and maiming.”
Your Lefty friends will try and convince you that this represents just a Tiny Minority™ of Muslims and, of course, that Islam is actually a religion of peace.
Of course they will – because they don’t know the truth. Mixed into their moral equivalence, wish-fulfilment and the brainwashing they receive daily from the media and the multikulti industry, is an ignorance of the true nature of Islam that is at the core of their misperceptions.Islam features all these things too, of course, but they are imbued with a supremacist and militaristic aspect and apply only to Muslims. The Qur’an and hadiths teach – again uniquely among faiths that Islam must dominate – by violence if necessary.
The mosques in this story are notable only for one thing – that they have been caught.
We have harbour doubts whatsoever that Islamic supremacism, criminal enterprises against the kuffar and terrorist fundraising – a Taliban funding plot in this case – is the rule in western mosques – not the exception. And the evidence is amassing daily.“The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers….”“There is no such thing as moderate or immoderate Islam.. Islam is Islam and that’s it” Recep Tayyip Erdoǧan, Turkish Prime Minister.
