Security cabinet discusses readiness as Kassams hit South

The security cabinet on Wednesday gathered to discuss strengthening the home front's readiness for various emergency scenarios.
Interior Minister Eli Yishai and Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman will be instructed to take the necessary measures for apartment owners to reinforce their buildings against missile attacks and earthquakes.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that home front security was yet another example of "bureaucratic obstacles" faced by Israel
"Reinforcing homes is a cogent interest and in the current situation, there is a tangible impediment to the ability to provide citizens with better protection," he said. "Therefore, the Security Cabinet decision must be implemented forthwith."
The meeting was held as two Kassam rockets exploded near the Gaza border on Wednesday, though the attacks caused no casualties or damage.
One exploded in an open field near a kibbutz in the Eshkol region, and another landed on the Palestinian side of the Gaza border fence.

I think the EU, UNHR and the West needs to address this issue immediately! How is it that Hamas is allowed to continually shoot missals into the homes of Israeli citizens and these acts of TERRORISM go unheeded by the world? Is it because the mindset is "let Israel handle these attacks from Muslim terrorist organizations, as we have bigger fish to fry"? Really? From the looks of the news and comments from Western leaders - most recently, from Bill Clinton - the only fish they wish to fry is "Israel's right to build homes in Judea and Samaria"! Talk about an upside down world! How is it that our government leaders cannot focus on real issues facing democracies - such as, "Terrorism caused throughout the world by Islamic terrorists"!.
Meanwhile, Israeli citizens are prisoners in their own homes - cameras, security gates, bomb shelters, "safe" rooms, all to protect themselves from the terror that strikes Israel daily.
Before talking about "peace" with Palestinians, perhaps everyone should begin by preventing this Hamas organization from attacking Israel - attacks by Palestinian leaders in Hamas/Gaza.
