Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi called on Thursday for jihad (holy war) against Switzerland over the ban adopted last year on the construction of minarets in the country."It is against unbelieving and apostate Switzerland that jihad ought to be proclaimed by all means," Kadhafi said during a speech in the Mediterranean coastal city of Bengazi to mark the birthday of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed.
"Apostate" Switzerland because Islam teaches that all people were originally Muslim.
"Jihad against Switzerland, against Zionism, against foreign aggression is not terrorism," Kadhafi said."Any Muslim around the world who has dealings with Switzerland is an infidel (and is) against Islam, against Mohammed, against God, against the Koran," the leader told a crowd of thousands in a speech broadcast live on television....

This jihad he proclaims against the Swiss is probably his way of garnering greater ill feeling towards the country in the local population.
This illustrious, self proclaimed king of kings is, and has been, a terrorist and a jihadist for a long time.
He and his sons are financing, aiding and abetting the jihad in Africa, in Thailand and in the Philippines.

Instructive how Islam produces tyrants aplenty like Qaddafi. Where are the Christian tyrants in the world? The Jewish ones? Any Buddhist tyrants out there? Hindu tyrants? Islam reveals so much about itself if only one looks at it plain in the face.

Ok, so they don't have much of an overseas force projection capability but I would not want to mess with them on their own soil.
The dhimmi British Labour government, with its infamous trade deals with Islamic Libya in exchange for the release of mass murderer Megrahi, is heavily implicated in this.
PM Brown is strengthening Libya in its Islamic emnity towards the West, and he is weakening the reputation of Britain.

In a sane world, the entire West would immediately come to Switzerland's defense and declare such threats not only unacceptable, but tantamount to a declaration of war.
But of course, it's not a sane world.
Can the Western world call for a ban of Saudi Arabia and its oil over the Infidel ban? Muslims only allowed in Mecca and Medina.
Would be nice to see if Obama would be welcome in those 2 cities.
