9/11 Is Not A Day of Service!

Creeping Sharia

Last week, Barack Obama declared that September 11 is a day of service, and encouraged everyone to get in on it: “There are so many ways to get involved,” he said, “and every American can do something.” He added: “Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost; a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.”
True to his authoritarian leanings, Obama isn’t just hoping Americans get involved in this, either. Now schoolchildren are being indoctrinated, too.
Organizers of the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance and the educational organization Scholastic announced Monday that they were partnering in a new educational program that they said was “designed to help America’s children learn about 9/11 in a constructive, nonthreatening way and inspire them to participate in the 9/11 Day Observance through good deeds and charitable service.”
In a press release, the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance and Scholastic stated that “MyGoodDeed, a leading 9/11 nonprofit organization, and HandsOn Network, the volunteer activation division of Points of Light Institute, are co-leading the national effort to organize the single largest day of charitable service in U.S. history in observance of the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 in tribute to the victims and survivors, and the many who heroically rose in service in response to the tragedy.”
The calls for service on September 11 are inappropriate and sacrilegious. September 11 is a national day of mourning. It should not be a day of service, but of remembrance for those who died in a surprise military strike against the United States of America conducted by the military wing of the global jihad, resulting in the largest loss of life from domestic terrorism in American history.
Is Pearl Harbor a day of service? D-Day? This is wrong. September 11 is not about service; it is about honoring our war dead. This is deeply offensive. This is part of the relentless campaign to whitewash 9/11 and distract from the terrible reality of the day that forever changed this country.
September 11 is a day of mourning. Service? Any other day. Not on the tenth anniversary of September 11.
But my organization, the American Freedom Defensive Initiative (AFDI) is going to do what Obama should be doing: we’re going to honor the victims and rededicate ourselves to fighting for freedom on September 11 at West Broadway and Park Place at our 911 Freedom Rally. One 9/11 family member remarked: “I am looking forward to the rally. It is a place we can be free to really remember the who, why, when and where of 9/11. The morning ceremony” – that is, the official ceremony, from which clergy and 9/11 first responders – “is devoid of any meaning.”
The AFDI 911 Freedom Rally will feature 9/11 family members, including Rosaleen Tallon, sister of hero firefighter and reservist in the United States Marine Corps, Sean Tallon, who was killed in the 9/11 attacks; Sally Regenhard, mother of hero firefighter Christian Regenhard, also killed in the 911 attacks (Regenhard is an American activist who has become one of the leading voices for the families of the victims of the September); U. S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton; German MP René Stadtkewitz leader of Germany’s Freedom Party, Dr. Arieh Eldad, former candidate for Prime Minister of Israel, Member of the Knesset; first responder Alan T. DeVona, the patrol sergeant on duty on September 11, 2001, as well as members of the clergy (a priest, a rabbi, a pastor, for the invocation) and the leading voices for freedom across America and the free world.
Other speakers include Anders Gravers, leader of SIOE and SIAD; Ezra Levant, TV anchor, newspaper columnist, author, founding publisher of the Western Standard magazine, the only Canadian media outlet to publish the Danish cartoons of Muhammad, and which will be livestreaming on SUN TV, Sudanese ex-slave and freedom fighter Simon Deng; the courageous ex-Muslim human rights activist Wafa Sultan; war hero and North Carolina Congressional candidate Ilario Pantano; William J. Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition, popular radio host Joyce Kaufman; Helen Freedman, Americans for a Safe Israel; Darla Dawald, National Director of the Patriot Action Network; James Lafferty of the Virginia Anti-Sharia Taskforce (VAST); Egyptian Coptic Christian activist Joseph Nassralla; Iraqi ex-Muslim Michael Paul; and others.
Robert Spencer and I will be hosting the rally, and that evening, we will also host a special screening of the groundbreaking film, The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 911 Attacks, at The Actor’s Temple Theater on 47th between 8th and 9th Avenues. RSVP to GroundZeroMosque@aol.com.
Please come to the 9/11 Freedom Rally, and bring everyone you can. Send notice about the Rally to everyone on your email lists. While the Obama minions are performing their empty acts of service, join us in restating our resolve to defend our freedom with our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.
Bloomberg has taken it a step further, assisting development of a huge mosque at Ground Zero while banning clergy and first responders from the hijacked 10th anniversary event – sanitizing the area for Islam. THE BEST EXAMPLE OF WHAT CREEPING SHARIA IS SPEAKING ABOUT IS THE FOLLOWING, FROM WEASEL ZIPPERS:

Obama Commemorates 9/11 Anniversary By Packaging Meals…

How is this:
WASHINGTON, DC – SEPTEMBER 10: U.S. President Barack Obama (R) with daughter Malia Obama, and, from left, Jeffrey Ragsdale,  Jamillah Linkins, and Marianne Ali, participate in a service project to commemorate the 9/11 anniversary at DC Central Kitchen September 10, 2011 in Washington, DC. Supposed to commemorate this?
Honestly, I don’t get it.
