JERUSALEM – For the global traveler who ventures to the city of Jerusalem, a visit to the world's holiest place has been known to occasionally generate a unique and overwhelming reaction known as Jerusalem syndrome. This phenomenon can lead to a host of delusions and psychoses that generally revolve around the discovery by the afflicted that they are a Messiah-like figure, or perhaps a New Age prophet.
There is no doubt that Glenn Beck is a controversial figure - a very public figure since the Glenn Beck hourly show on Fox News for the past two years. He was the only individual who reported correctly what was happening in America under this present administration; so much so, that Obama's administration has attempted to silence not only Beck, but the entire Fox News station and its journalists.
Glenn Beck is a Conservative, unlike the liberal Democratic Party under Obama, Clinton and the rest of the crowd in Washington. I would go so far as to say Beck woke many Americans up to the dangers facing America; he identified the U.S. enemies and made no apologies to Isalm. His last few months on Fox, before his resignation, he spoke mainly about the Middle East Conflict and Israel. Much credit goes to Beck for demonstrating the importance of the U.S. supporting and respecting its ally Israel. The main stream media hardly touches on news of Israel and when it does, the tone comes directly from the mouths of those from the White House - negative responses for Israel building settlements, etc. Nothing good is mentioned about Israel and for that, Beck was a breath of fresh air!
As for mentioning Beck as an anti-Semite, that is entirely wrong! Yes, he mentioned Jews in America who were not supporters of Israel - and there are many, just as there are many Christians who will debate the importance of defending Israel and other U.S allies. For instance, there is a so-called "Jewish" organization called J-Street - it is as anti-Israel as some in the Administration and Obama latched on to this controversial group as a demonstration of even Jews supporting Obama's policies. WRONG! Pointing out the faults of groups and individuals who are on a slippery slope of liberalism, whether Jew or Gentile, is important to everyone who seeks the truth and wishes to choose wisely, before electing candidates who do NOT have America's best interests as their common goal.
America has made huge mistakes in voting for people placed on thrones, like kings, without knowing the truth about an individual's background and it cannot afford to do so again in next year's elections.
I do not know Beck's mind, or his purpose in this "crusade" as it is called in the article above; but Beck, a Mormon, is not an Evangelical, as some have portrayed him to be; he is a man who loves his country and supports Israel. For that, he is tagged an "extremist" by our government and by those who disagree with him for not agreeing with the foreign policies of this Administration.
This blog exists because my heart loves and respects Israel - that is its main purpose in existing. If Beck heart's in the right place, the people will either recognize his love for Israel, or they will attempt to demean Beck, just as they demean anyone supporting Israel.
