Ahmadinejad Calls on Europe to Avoid Following US Policies

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the European states to distance themselves from Washington’s policies. The Iranian regime president added, “The era of hegemony, slavery and World War II has ended.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the European states to distance themselves from Washington’s policies on Iran, stressing that Tehran and Europe can establish amicable ties and enjoy broad cooperation in different fields.
Ahmadinejad welcomed the expansion of “amicable and respectful” ties with Europe, warning European countries that their relations with Iran should not be affected by the US.
The era of hegemony, slavery and World War II has ended and all governments and nations must currently cooperate to help establish a “better world,” said President Ahmadinejad in an interview with Euronews tv channel on Wednesday.
He added that the Islamic Republic is interested in cordial and constructive ties with European countries and stated that the world’s economic and political affairs can be managed “in a better way.”
The Iranian chief executive emphasized the importance of reinforcing unity to “fairly” manage the world so that human beings will enjoy equal rights.
