UPDATE: Obama Twitter Spams USA, Loses 10,000 Followers

FOX NATION
JULY 29, 2011

By Jon Bershad, Mediaite

President Obama’s campaign staff is kind of like that as they’ve initiated a day-long project to tweet out the Twitter names of every Republican Congressmen state by state…in individual tweets.
Great idea to help people contact their representation, right? The 10,000 people who have unfollowed Obama in the past few hours seem to disagree.

NOTE:
And to think, I just opened up a Twitter account last week!  HA HA HA ... as one person said on Fox Nation, "I think many are un-following Obama even if they do not use Twitter".  If Obama isn't selling $5.00 tickets over the Internet for some "lucky" person to have dinner with him, he has his folks spamming Twitter.  I hope Twitter drops his account - after all, spamming is against the rules on Twitter.  Guess it's just Obama, doing it "his way" (again!).

and now, a few words from Allen West:

Allen West on Obama: "NOT the Great Savior;

Emperor of the World...just a guy FAILING."

UPDATE ...

Obama Launches Twitter War On Republicans

Posted: July 29th, 2011 12:35 PM | Author: Henry D'Andrea
President Obama declared a Twitter war on Republican lawmakers today through his online account, @barackobama – just moments after telling the nation it was time to move beyond politics.

“The time for putting party first is over,” Obama wrote on his Twitter account. “If you want to see bipartisan #compromise, let Congress know. Call. Email. Tweet.”

Immediately after that tweet, the President’s team began sending a continuous stream of Twitter messages listing the Twitter accounts of Republican representative and senator in Congress. So far the messages are being delivered in alphabetical order.

This is the message @barackobama sent to voters in Illinois, for example:

“Voters with Republican reps in IL: Make sure your representative knows you support a balanced approach to reducing the deficit. #compromise”

That message was then followed by a tweet listing the online Twitter accounts for every member of the Republican delegation from that state.

However, @barackobama only targeted Republican lawmakers with the “compromise” message.

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) was one of the targets of the attack. He sent a reply via twitter:

“@BarackObama thinks this is all about him, but it’s not,” the senator’s tweet read.

Sessions then referred his followers to video of a speech he delivered earlier today in the Senate chamber:

This is about America, and what’s good for this country,” Sessions said. “It’s not about the president. It’s not about politics.”

Many Twitter users have expressed disgust that @barackobama would do something so partisan just a few hours after delivering a statement calling for bipartisanship.

“@barackobama believes that ‘compromise’ only means changing Republican minds,” wrote @Mullis_for_Tift. “His way or nothing.”

@gcl_iv wrote: “He’s a community organizer. He can’t help but rally people against the opposition.”

The @barackobama account is run by the Obama 2012 campaign staff – but the President also tweets from this account.
So President no plan Obama is taking to twitter to attack the GOP? Okay, we can do it too. I tweeted this earlier:   read more here
