From CAN:
Rep. Peter King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, has announced that a second round of hearings on Muslim radicalization in the U.S. will be held on June 15, CNN reports. The focus on the hearings will be on the spread of radical Islam in the prison system.
“We have seen cases in which inmates have been radicalized at the hands of already locked-up terrorists or by extremist imam chaplains,” King’s statement reads.
Terrorism experts have warned for years about the spread of radical Islam in the prison system. In January 2010, a Senate report warned that up to three dozen American citizens who served time in prison and converted to Islam are in Yemen and may be working with Al-Qaeda. The former inmates traveled to the Middle Eastern country to ostensibly study Arabic and were described as “blond-haired, blue eyed-types.”
Rep. King was attacked by left-wing critics and some Muslim organizations for his first hearings, which focused on an alleged lack of cooperation by the American-Muslim community with law enforcement. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) accused him of having “dedicated years of his career peddling extremist rhetoric and baseless claims concerning the Muslim community and its leadership.”
However, the Obama Administration’s national security team has confirmed that homegrown extremism is on the rise. (Really?!  Since when?  Since Obama began campaigning for his next term as president?!)
“You didn’t worry about this [homegrown terrorism] even two years ago—about individuals, about Americans, to the extent that we now do,” Attorney General Eric Holder said in December.

Note:
Holder claims we didn't worry about this homegrown terrorism two years ago?!  What planet has he been living on?  Has he spoken with the FBI?  CIA?  One of the major Muslim organizations in America has ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, according to our own FBI over two years ago.  And yet, this is the same organizations protesting these hearings.  What the Muslim organization calls "rhetoric" is actually TERRORISM in the United States.

What was the outcome of the first hearing held by Rep. King?  Anyone know?  Is this a "feel-good" exercise to still the nerves of Americans concerned about Islam extremism in America?  What actually is the goal at the end of these hearings?  When do you plan to call expert witnesses who can testify, factually, about 80% of American mosques teaching Jihad?  How about calling Robert Spencer (Jihad Watch), Pamella Gella (Atlas Shrugs), Barry Rubin ... for starters!?

The flag of the United States does not have a half moon on it; nor is it a "circle" or big fat zero of the Obama administration logo; and Sharia law contradicts the U.S. Constitution.
