Osama bin Laden is dead - the head of the snake Al-Qaida is dead!
Just a few short hours ago the announcement of bin Laden's death has brought Americans out into the streets to rejoice - "justice has been served".
This is a night we shall never forget - just as we shall never forget the attacks on American soil that fateful day - September 11, 2001.
Journalist are so excited to share the news, some almost seem tongue-tied. Pictures of Americans celebrating in front of the "people's house" in Washington, DC and on the streets of New York City fill the screens and it is very touching to see NYC fire fighters rejoicing with Americans in downtown Times Square.
We all remember where we were on 9-11 and we will all remember May 1st as a day to give thanks to all our troops who have served these past ten years to fight Islamic extremist, the Taliban, and Al-Qaida in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. To the families who have lost loved ones in this "war on terror" we say "God bless you" and thank you.
