Real Americans Defend Israel

The best way to handle this in such a way that it will not reoccur is as follows:
To confiscate any and all ships just like the US DEA does for drug smugglers that they catch.
The ships should be sold and the proceeds used to cover costs, and also (and this should be widely-publicized) for the benefit of Israelis living near Gaza who have suffered from the missiles and mortars.
If we really want to stick it to them, a youth center or something of that nature can be built and named the Marmara with a plaque thanking the owners of the vessel for their generous contribution. Make a large, showy dedication and invite the press.
As to the takeover of the ships, I hope (and believe) that this time will be more forceful initially to avoid what happened last time: Stun grenades followed by dogs and commandos would be one possibility.
And those who participate- especially the leaders, should pay a high personal price. They shouldn't be freed so fast. After all, it takes time to do a background check, verify details on their real identities, investigate and interrogate each of them, etc. Let the bureaucracy work at a bureaucratic pace.

My Note:
Yishai Kohen is a good friend and has allowed me to share his "suggestion" on how to handle any future attempts of terrorists breaking through Israel's Navy's blockade. Yishai's idea is absolutely tremendous! Think of the lives of the IDF that would be saved, not to mention the fact that Turkey and whoever else wishes to join in would be forewarned.
