and .A new illustrated map presented by the pro-Israel Americans for a Safe Israel ASFI shows that a Hamas-Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority state would leave all of what would remain of Israel within Katyusha range.
The map was created by Mark Langfan, a New York attorney and expert on military and strategic issues who has frequently appeared at Congressional committees on Capitol Hill.
A Hamas-Fatah PA state would allow the terrorist organization, whose stated aim is the destruction of Israel, to deploy Iranian and Syrian-supplied Katyusha missiles near all Israel urban centers.
Seventy percent of the population of Israel, and 80 percent of the country’s industrial base is located in the coastal region that includes Netanya and metropolitan Tel Aviv, AFSI pointed out. One large PA city is Tulkarm, located only a few miles east of Netanya and overlooking the high-speech north-0south Highway 6 (Kvish 6).

The Carter Center, founded in 1982 by Carter and his wife Rosalynn, commended members of Hamas and Fatah for "having the vision to begin the process of reunifying the Palestinian people.”
Carter added, “Based on my years of contacts with Fatah and Hamas, I am confident that, if handled creatively and flexibly by the international community, Hamas’ return to unified Palestinian governance can increase the likelihood of a two-state solution and a peaceful outcome.”

Yes, I posted the map twice ... take a good look at and then ask why Obama needs to "study" the Fatah-Hamas agreement to unify. Ask how anyone needs to "study" an agreement made by Hamas terrorists (or for that matter, any terrorist hell-bent on destroying an entire nation) ... ask why our United State military is training the PLO/Palestinian Authority, when this authority had quite a bit of "training" under Arafat! Ask why Congress now needs to comment that "if" Abbas joins with Hamas, the U.S. would have to with draw aid to the PA's ... when aid has also been given to Gaza under Hamas leadership. Ask why the U.S. State Dept. allowed a Palestinian Authority flag to fly in Washington, DC last year ... when it is not a "state" or recognizable authority within its own organization between the PA's and Hamas. Ask why with the entire Middle East burning and threatening Israel i.e. Egypt, for starters ... the United States supports those who have within its own Charter (Hamas and PA's) a declaration to wipe out the Jews and the State of Israel ....
The Middle East is not the only place in this world that is burning with hatred and destruction ... Muslims against Muslims, Arabs against Arabs ... here, in the United States, there is what appears to be a burning desire to "study" matters, rather than "defend and support" our ally, Israel.
Congress, speak a little louder, because Obama has not heard one word you speak, to-date.
