MELTDOWN
March 16, 2011When someone refers to a melt-down, the first thought that comes to mind is that of "the melting of a significant portion of a nuclear reactor core due to inadequate cooling of the fuel elements, a condition that could lead to the escape of radiation", according to the dictionary's definition. Secondly, there are emotional meltdowns and that normally happens when someone's grief or burden become more than an individual can bare - something happened that was completely out of our hands to control, which leaves us with a deep feeling of helplessness.
The world has been covering the aftermath of Japan's largest earthquakes ever recorded - a magnituded of 8.9, with 30 foot Tsunami; a devastation that slammed Japan's eastern coast on Friday, March 11, 2011. To add to this tragedy, scientist are now rushing to prevent meltdowns of its nuclear plants throughout Japan.

Why would I say this act of terrorism is worse than a Tsunami? Worse than a record-breaking earthquake?
The country of Japan has the support of the world. The U.S. navy ships are offshore, waiting to assist in anyone possible, to alleviate the pain of the Japanese civilians. Countries throughout the world are offering assistance, including scientist, to prevent that "melt-down" of Japan's nuclear reactors. Folks are glued to their TV's, watching and listening with bated breath to every word commentators and journalists report on the impact and consequences of Japan's disaster.

Unlike Japan, a country that will rebuild with aid pouring in from the world community, Israel stands alone in her grief. Alone, because the reaction from the world is one of indifference to the cold-blooded murders of Jews living in State of Israel. Such apathy from the world encourages and emboldens Palestinian terrorists to continue this ongoing war of terrorism and the only issue the West has is with Israel, and whether or not the Israelis will build another home. The Fogel family gave up their home in 2005, for the sake of "peace" when Israel gave up land to the Palestinians and shortly thereafter, Hamas was voted in as the leaders of the Gaza Strip and the Fogel family died at the very hands of those who now live in their previous home.
How many contracts, agreements, stipulations, covenants, negotiations, meetings, and condemnations from the world towards the State of Israel before the world understands that with the Arab League and the Palestinian Arabs there will be no peace until and when the Arab Palestinians put down their weapons and are refused financial aid from the world community and the West, until such time as the Palestinians cease their acts of terrorism?
Meltdowns are occurring all over the world - earthquakes, Tsunamis, and bloodthirsty acts of terrorism! Japan will rebuild, but for Israel, no matter how many times it rebuilds, they can expect zero assistance from the world, until the world stops funding terrorists groups that use that same financial aid to strike Jewish families sleeping in their beds.

Have we become so numb to acts of terrorism that it is no longer worth the media's time to report? Or, would the truth upset the policies being pushed by this present Administration? This act of terror proves beyond a doubt that there can be no "two-state" solution or partnership with terrorists. As someone said, "Wake up and smell the coffee"! I will add, "Get off the gold course and act like a President, Obama! Your lack of support towards Israel has not gained America friends in the Middle East. I can afford to have a meltdown, so can my cable company, but as President of the United States, if you are having a meltdown, please turn over your responsibilities to someone who can lead and protect America."
I would like to see our Congress investigate the policies that allow the United States to continually contribute financial aid to the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, through aid to Gaza and seek ways to stop this madness. Stop U.S. military training of members of the Palestinian Authority, for that training is giving an edge to enemies of Israel (and the U.S.). Prove to Americans that Washington hasn't also had a meltdown and can apply a little common sense to its policies on Foreign Aid. I don't believe history will be kind to those who stood on the same side as terrorists, rather than stand up for those who treasure life and the freedoms of a democratic State.
