If Islam opposes the bomb ~ someone better tell Pakistan!!
"The development or use of nuclear weapons contradicts Iran's religious principles and would violate the tenets of Islam", the country's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi says.
"Islamic Republic authorities have reiterated that nuclear arms are against the country's religious principals," Salehi said in an interview with the Euronews channel in Germany said. "We have been committed to the NPT and believe that the proliferation of a nuclear bomb is against the tenets of Islam." (Ynet)

So, all those ongoing threats out of Iran towards the West and Israel were just a joke?! The distribution of weapons/missiles to the terrorist organizations throughout the Middle East, compliments of Iran, are a contradiction of the peace loving religion/ideology of Isam, or is it just "nuclear" weapons that contradict Islam's principles?! Hmm! But suicide bombers, beheadings, chopping off of limbs, stonings, hangings, flying planes into tall buildings, bombing trains in Spain and India, and other forms of terrorism are "ok" with the Muslim world?
I read somewhere that the only safe places for non-Muslims are the "North and South Poles" ... that about sizes up nicely how safe this old world is from Islamic terrorism. Nevertheless, reading this announcement from ali Akbar sure does make one wonder just how many folks in this old world will fall for his propaganda.
