"Betrayal is common for men with no conscience."

Before I go, I want you to know
The pain I bear comes from you.
My trust you threw in my face
Without a hint or even a clue.
Before I go, I'd like to know,
"Why?" I'm left with sorrow,
My main emotion - betrayal,
Hope and joy flattened low.
Before I go, you should know
I may feel loss and despair,
But I'll return stronger in time,
Even if I take longer to care.
Before I go, all should know
Right will conquer in the end.
You may feel you won for now,
But dishonesty is a fickle friend.

It is not pleasant to feel betrayed by those whom we are suppose to trust. Americans trusted Obama when they voted for him to represent the best interests of the United States.
Children go to bed at night, trusting that their parents will keep them safe and no harm will come to them. As an American, I should have that same feeling of security, believing that my government leaders will keep America safe and secure. Isn't that what our troops do for our country, as they put their lives on the line 24-7 and their families make sacrifices for their loved ones?
However, under this presidency, it is anyone's guess who he will betray next - and as America loses respect from our allies who once trusted our judgment and loyalty, Obama has emboldened our enemies.
Will we, as Americans, "return stronger in time"? I find music and prayer bring peace to my soul even in the darkest nights, so let us listen to the video together:

For everyone's information, the piano piece in this video is called "rain" by Dax Johnson. The original audio "you raise me up" had to be replaced due to copy right claims by wmg,. so i just decided to keep the video anyway, as opposed to removing it completely, but replace the audio. I apologize for any confusion.
