n an exclusive interview with "This Week" anchor Christiane Amanpour taped on Friday afternoon, Clinton said, "I think it is absolutely clear to say, number one, that it's been American policy for many years that settlements were illegitimate and it is the continuing goal and highest priority of the Obama administration to keep working toward a two-state solution with both Israelis and Palestinians."
The U.N. resolution failed as a result of the United States' veto. The Security Council vote was 14 countries in favor of the resolution and one country, the United States, opposed. Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said that the resolution risked harming the peace process.

I think there is an Arab Nation, I always thought so and I didnt change my mind.

I dont think there is a Palestinian Nation, I think its a Colonial invention Palestinian Nation.

When were there any Palestinians? Where did it come from? What

I think there is an Arab Nation, I never turned to be a Palestinian Nationalist, despite of my decisive struggle against the Occupation.

I think that until the end of the 19TH century, Palestine was the South of Great Syria.

History has proven over and over again, that Islam does not, nor will it ever, bring peace to any nation/state/country - it brings slavery and death.
The nerve of the Arabs! A Palestinian state?! In a book, or chapter and verse, seen in history, that the City of David, and the cities of Jerusalem and Israel, belongs to them (the Arabs)? ... "
