Real Americans Defend Israel
By: Bee Sting
In the world of cyberspace, social networking is becoming the fastest growing networking on the web. It appears not only family and friends want to "connect" with you. Last week, Real Americans posted an article about the Department of Homeland Security wanting to be your "friend".
According to the United States government of "DHS", “Terrorists communicate over the internet,” says another former DHS agent. No longer with the agency, he speculates as to why DHS is going to such lengths to monitor private citizens in cyberspace: “It is easier to watch individuals online than it is to set up an organization that monitors radicals in the real world because in [cyberspace] no one knows you’re watching them and no one can accuse you of targeting a specific group.”
AND, the report goes on to say:
"DHS is simultaneously in the process of “deploying” its ability to monitor cyberspace in the civilian sector. It is doing this through a federal technology package known as Einstein 3, developed by the National Security Agency, or NSA."
Anyone who has an account with YouTube understands that Jihad and Islam extremists are floating in cyberspace and they are quite adapt at using all the tools available when networking in order to spread their propaganda, or recruit gullible folks to their "camp".
Remember Jihad Jane? She was a member of YouTube for over two years, before getting caught in an attempt to perform Jihad.
To counter-act the Extremists, there are groups on both networks that spend hours attempting to post the truth - through videos and essays, and news articles from non-Arabic media and press. These groups are attacked daily, as the trolls and Extremists seek out, find and attack pro-Israel, pro-American groups on both YouTube and Facebook. Such attacks are becoming common these days. How is it done? Simple. A group of Jihadist can get together, click a button to report your page as "offensive" and when enough complaints are filed, poof - your page suddenly disappears, without warning and you have just been "hit" by either a group or someone who wishes to be a part of the group, committing Jihad on the Net - surprise!
So, you have Jihadist performing Jihad on social networks!
The enemy can post an American flag as their "avitar", sing Dixie, or America the Beautiful and one would think that the individual is the most patriotic American in the land - only to find out later, that this person was posting from some tunnel in Gaza. However, by the time you learn this, you more than likely are no longer a member of Facebook or YouTube.
We warn our children and try to monitor their computer experience, not wanting them to be attacked or hurt by trolls on the Internet. However, we need to take the same precautions when socializing on any of the social networks. That goes for blogging, commenting on newspapers, etc. Clean out your history, cookies, etc. and have the best anti-spyware/spam-blocking programs you can apply to your computer before posting on the Internet.
You are the President and Ex. Director of your computer. Do whatever is comfortable for you. Due to the type of news posted on Real Americans, for instance, I receive "love" letters from around the world which have prompted me to review all comments before posting. That's what I'm comfortable doing and after all, this is my space. I never knew there were so many folks in this world with the name "anonymous"! The name "anonymous" must be the favorite name throughout the world - sure does break down language barriers.
So, to sum it up: there are Jihadist on social networks; the federal government would like to be your "friend"; and now, the latest news from "Un dhimmi", where he reports on Facebook being used as a recruiting office for Jihad:
