Well, one of CAIR's top leaders bragged about being Obama's spiritual adviser and also claimed she had helped write the Cairo speech for the president. So, sending the Imam to collect his $100 MILLION DOLLARS from the Arabs in the Middle East to build the mosque is no surprise, nor is his connection to the White House.
