Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, reiterated previous statements by Palestinian officials that the US would cease supporting the Palestinian Authority if it refused to enter into direct negotiations with Israel in an interview with London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi published on Saturday.

"They even threatened to isolate the Palestinians and cut off relations," Ashrawi was quoted as saying.

Note:
Oh, did this happen after the Palestinians in Gaza, ruled by Hamas, sent rockets into Israel?

Perhaps while we're at it, why not demand that Gaza return the $940 MILLION DOLLARS Obama anxiously bestowed upon them soon after taking Office; and that $400 MILLION added amount he contributed to Gaza/Hamas last month - any chance we can get some of that tax payers money back from these terrorist?

Might also be good if we stopped the military training of the Palestinians, (call off the Dayton boys) since we already know that it would be "political suicide" to agree to peace terms with the Jewish State of Israel.

Let me guess what happens:
1.  Like Iranian madman, the Palestinians will not be persuaded by any lack of support from the U.S.  Remember, for years the U.S. did not support the PLO's .. then we changed our mind and welcomed Arafat with open arms.

2.  Life will go on, as usual, in Israel until Hamas sends one too many rockets into Israeli cities ... and it will be another War with the terrorist in Gaza - only this time, worse for Gaza.
