Obama and Hamas

Pres Obama is not letting the flotilla crisis go to waste. He is using it as a springboard to change US policy regarding Hamas. In his words, uttered in a recent interview by Larry King, ‘Time to move forward and break out of the impasse’ and “the status quo is unsustainable.” Totally aside from whether it is really unsustainable, one need not wonder how he intends to break out of the impass. He will bring Hamas in from the cold.
It was recently disclosed by Aaron Klein that,
“The group behind the Gaza flotilla that engaged in deadly clashes with Israeli commandos today counts among its top supporters the friends and associates of President Barack Obama, namely the founders of the Weather Underground terrorist organization, William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, as well as Jodie Evans, the leader of the radical activist organization Code Pink.”
Barack Obama should be included in this cast of characters.
Jerome Corsi went so far as to report:
“A top adviser to President Obama, (John O Brennan), is the contact person within the White House for communications with the Free Gaza Movement over plans to challenge Israel’s blockade of the terrorist Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, according to a reputable source close to the Netanyahu government. The anti blockade movement was promoted by a Turkish “charity” IHH which has been designated as a supporter of Hamas by both Israel and the US. One of the backers of this “charity” is Tariq Ramadan who had been banned from entering the US due to his financial support of Hamas. Yet Obama believes that “Turkey can have a positive voice in this whole process.”
In April of this year, Obama’s administration lifted the ban on Ramadan. A week ago, the Guardian reported “Hamas leader says American envoys making contact, but not openly.” And this was before the crises.
But the Obama-Hamas connection goes way back.
Two years ago
“From BizzyBlog comes evidence that Obama’s church not only has anti-white, anti-American feelings, but may also have a pro-Hamas bias. The July 22, 2007 Trinity United Church of Christ bulletin reprinted an article written by Mousa Abu Marzook, deputy of the political bureau of Hamas. Originally printed in the LA Times as “Hamas’ stand“, Pastor Wright added a new title, “A Fresh View of the Palestinian Struggle”. The Times was criticized for giving a “Platform To Genocidal Terrorist.” Where does that leave Obama’s church? Marzook is a known terrorist and created an extensive Hamas network in the United States.”
Indeed, where does that leave Obama himself?
WND reviews Aaron Klein’s book, “The Manchurian President”, and reports
It was in a WABC Radio interview with Klein that Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to Hamas, “endorsed” Obama for president, generating world headlines and sparking controversy. Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain and Obama repeatedly traded public barbs over Hamas’ positive comments.
During Obama’s election campaign he was aided by Hamas-controlled Palestinians manning a phone bank from Gaza. Al Jazeera reported on the story.
Seven days later, on January 27/09, Obama allocated $20.3 million for Palestinian migration and refugee assistance. Quite a reward. Why was he bringing Hamas terrorists to the US?
But his gratitude didn’t end there. One month later, in the middle of a great economic crunch, Obama sent $900 million to Gazans or should I say Hamas.
So how does Obama intend to end the impass? An indication may be in Pres Carter’s written initiative, which he delivered to Hamas a year ago. In it, he proposed talks between the Islamist group and the U.S. without Hamas having to accept all conditions previously laid out for dialogue by the American government.
After the Hamas take over of Gaza three years ago, the US and Israel decided to impose a blockade on Gaza to bring Hamas down. Hamas started firing rockets at Israel over the next few years to force a change in this policy. This resulted in Cast Lead in which the IDF attacked Hamas and delivered a major blow. Israel shocked everyone by ending the operation before Hamas was annihilated. It was reported that she did so at the request of President-elect Obama who was about to be inaugurated.
For the time being, the rockets being fired by Hamas are few and far between perhaps because Hamas has a friend in the White House. Instead, Hamas has been planning, along with friends of Obama above mentioned and Brennan, deputy national security adviser for homeland security and counterterrorism, to break the siege with a flotilla. And to make sure to create a sufficient crises to enable Obama to chart another course more favorable to them, they planned a violent confrontation.
After Israel successfully thwarted the attempt to break the blockade, Obama promised Palestinians $400 million more.
In yet another slap at Israel, President Barack Obama promised Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, another $400 million in aid to Gaza and the West Bank. At the same time, Obama urged Israel to consider halting its blockade on the Hamas-run territory.
“Ending the impass”, means lifting the blockade. Netanyahu in a recent speech gave Israel’s bottom line saying, “Israel cannot permit Iran to establish a Mediterranean port a few dozen kilometers from Tel Aviv and from Jerusalem”. The same, I am sure, goes for an airport in Gaza.
Let’s see how Obama squares the circle. No doubt he will propose some international inspection of cargo, certainly arriving from the Mediterranean and possibly from Egypt. But Israel need look no farther than UNSC Res 1701 which ended Lebanon War II. That resolution was to put a stop to the rearming of Hezbollah. It failed miserably. Why should better results be expected in Gaza.

    Palestinians escalate fight with Israel

Israeli Navy intercepted, killed five Palestinian frogmen en route from Gaza into Israel. The amount of arms carried by the Palestinians left no doubt: they are no lesser friends of Israel than Obama.
If succeeded, that would be the largest Palestinian operation against Israel in a year and a half.
  2. yamit82 says:
The Interior Minister is looking into ways to strip Arab MK Zouabi of her Israeli citizenship. She boarded the Gaza flotilla; worse, she had the audacity to tell Jews that it is a “Torah’s commandment” to do so, a straightforward act of blasphemy.
The United States tries its terrorist citizens in military courts, recognizing that siding with the enemy in wartime is an act of de facto citizenship renunciation.
Israeli leftists are unable to digest this simple truth, for under such an approach all of them would have to switch to Iranian citizenship
  3. yamit82 says:
Obama: killing terrorists is very regrettable

Obama called the loss of life on the Marmara very regrettable and offered deep condolences to the Turkish PM.
I don’t know about Obama’s part of the globe, but in the world we live in, killing one’s enemies is a joyful experience.
  4. Max says:
Yeah I read that on JPost.
Now I wait to hear it on CBC
    … yeah right…
OK let’s start up the world wide protests!
I know, call up the U.N. and report it!
    ..they’ll know what to do…
  5. keelie says:
Apparently, the Kurds attacked a Turkish naval installation, and killed several people. Now the Turks are “examining the possibility that Israel was behind the attack”.
In other words, they’re trying find a way to spin it so that (as usual) they can blame Israel.
Behold the descent of a relatively modern nation into the usual Islamic barbarism…
Perhaps it’s time to offer safe conversion to Judaism to those who would rather not be Muslims…
  6. DavidBenAriel says:
The president usurper, the bastard from Africa, the con man from Kenya, was indoctrinated for over 20 years in Jeremiah Wright’s haven of hatred against the United States and Israel and it shows. If Israel had properly dealt with Gaza years ago and expelled all their sworn enemies to Egypt or Saudi Arabia they wouldn’t have the troubles today. Gaza needs to be cauterized rather than left a bleeding wound, and Israel might as well do the right thing (as the Law of Moses calls for) because the world will condemn them anyway.

Thank you so much for your updates which are very important. May I please add; I have been observing Obama, is politics and attitude towards Israel, USA and the Muslim’s world. I am in the opinion that a lot more is going to come out which will endanger Israel.
Obama is a Muslim and acting against not only Israel but also Americans(= white) interests as well. After all, it was the white American who brought the black slaves to America and the white American who was prejudice against blacks in US. Obama is not only taking revenge but also trying to compensate the American blacks (e.g. health reform). Obama is pro Muslims also because he identifies with them, not only for their colour but also because world law opinion of them from a cultural point of view.
Sorry to be so blunt but we must understand his psychology in order to know what to expect and how to protect ourselves. Our leaders must remain strong…

  9. Ed D says:
God bless John Bolton for being one of the few win DC who gives tremendous support for Israel. If he could only become President of the USA.

  11. rongrand says:
Ted, like I have said in the past, Obama is no more than an Acorn, Community Organizing anti-Semite bigot (he is by no means a Christian, a phony attempt to capture votes) who embraces Islam. He trots over one of our truest, friend and ally, a democracy Israel in favor of the Islamic Arab world with the worst human rights violations, who support and provide financial aid to world terrorist.
He has given hope to Iran to continue on their merry way to become a nuclear power in their quest to control the ME and destroy Israel.
What is more upsetting is his two cronies and advisers, Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod, both Jewish.
I am sure G-d is not pleased with either of them. Shame
