These from our friends in Iran. Where is the oil money going? Not to pay the average Iranian worker.
Tehran, May 15, 2010. Statistics show that the criminal Pasdars (Revolutionary Guards members) receive the highest wage from the government. These statistics come while the basic wages for workers, teachers and employees in other organs is not enough for a decent livelihood, Khamenei elements in RGC receive several time this amount. Currently the basic wage for a worker is 300,000 tomans per month (less than 300 dollars), the basic wage for a teacher with the degree of Bachelor of Science is 500,000 tomans per month. An ordinary governmental employee receives between 5 to 6 hundred thousands tomans.
Basic wages for SSF and army is between 300,000 to 500,000 tomans per month but and RGC force receives 700,000 tomans per month and in some cases these forces have not finished high school or even their sixth grade.
Those forces with high school diploma or higher receive one to one and a half million tomans per month and they also enjoy wages for extra hours of work, wages for their missions and years in the force which will increase the amount over to 2million tomans.
Honoring war dead from the Iran-Iraq War, NOT!
Tehran, May 15, 2010
To raise the spirit of its suppressive forces and Bassijies in confronting the struggling youths of the uprising the desperate clerical regime brought the bones of the victims of Iran-Iraq war after 23 years to a street show. After the Friday Prayer the mullahs went to the podium inviting people to mourn and beat themselves on head and chest. To heat up the show Ahmadinejad, Khamenei’s puppet, held a speech talking about wars offenses and defenses. Fars News Agency affiliated with RGC said on May 15 that some of the bones amongst 89 sets of founded bones belonged to Ali Hashemi the commander of Imam Sadegh Sixth Corps who was killed during the war!
Sanctions may still be viable.
Tehran, May 15, 2010. While the clerical regime fears very much the execution of harder sanctions by the international society, in an interview with Aljazireh TV, Ahmadinejad started threatening and said: “if the sanctions are approved they are cruel, have no legal bases and are clear bullying. They cannot harm Iran. This would be a document that the current system (of world community) is an oppressing one… it will be eradicated. Then there would be this problem for US because Mr. Obama came to cover the oppressing face of Bush but if he behaves the same what will happen? First Obama’s era will be over and then US’s historic opportunity for reforming her face will be over. Mr. Obama came to change the conditions but if he acts like Bush then US is done with. We don’t want this but it is up to them”.
Why hide the location of Friday Prayers?
Tehran, May 14, 2010
Reports gathered show that Tehran’s security forces order residents around Enghelab Sq. and around the location of holding Friday Prayer each Friday morning to put their vehicles out of sight. They are not allowed to take their vehicles out of their parking lots till the end of the prayer.
On Friday May 14 hundreds of security forces, SSF and Bassijies were stationed at the east side of the square since 8 am. Enghelab St, and the distance between North Kargar Street till Palestine St. was completely blocked and no body was allowed to pass. Regime’s fear of people’s protests led to more tense security atmosphere for Friday Prayer.
Strike all over Kurdistan frightened the regime and it thought of protests forming in Tehran too. So since early morning on Friday tens of military vehicles were stationed around Enghelab Sq. Buses transporting regime’s supporters entered the premises with the permission of Especial Guards. Ordinary people and vehicles were not allowed to pass.
It’s the veil thing again.
ILNA state-run news agency- May 15, 2010. Parvin Ahmadinejad a Tehran City Council’s member of Commission of Planning and Budget said: “there are three groups who have improper veil in the society. The first group do this on enmity, the second group are organized people receiving money and have preplanned programs they move long distances throughout the city during the day to establish ‘improper veil’ in the society and the third group are negligent ones; some time proper outfit cannot be found in bazaar or outfits that meet less frameworks of veil are cheaper in bazaar so women have to buy those”.
