Democrats are being asked to willingly suspend their disbelief, and trust the Prevaricator in Chief
By Joy Tiz Monday, March 8, 2010Their entire agenda hinges on fooling the public into thinking liberal policies are something other than liberal policies; they rewrite history and convolute the American lexicon. Nobody can remember the last time their president looked us in the eye and told the truth about something. Yet, liberals are shocked-just shocked- to discover they can’t trust each other when it comes to passing the nefariousness camouflaged as “health care reform”.
The WSJ reports on the current state of jihad in the Democrat controlled Congress:
“House Democrats are suspicious of each other, none of them trust their Senate counterparts, and vice versa, and a Soviet mole has infiltrated the highest levels of British intelligence. Sorry, that last part is from a John le Carré thriller, though it might take a novelist to do justice to the ObamaCare-induced paranoia that now engulfs Congress—not to mention the double game that the White House may well be running.”
In the labyrinthine salmagundi that is now Obama Care, Democrats are being asked to willingly suspend their disbelief, and trust the Prevaricator in Chief . Luckless Dems have to take it on faith that if they vote for a bill they don’t like, the president will fix it all up later.
That’s quite the predicament: having to wager your career on the word of a pathological liar and narcissist.
“Last week President Obama sanctioned ‘reconciliation,’a complex tactic that would jam ObamaCare into law on sheer power politics. But what if this gambit is really a false-flag operation, meant to lure House Democrats into voting for a bill that they would otherwise oppose? That’s the question many rank-and-file Members are now asking themselves, and they’re right to be worried.”
If the Dems had any insight into Obama’s narcissism they would understand that Obama Care is about Obama’s illusions about his presidency and his acute need for narcissistic supply. He doesn’t have the luxury of worrying about the well being of his fellow Democrats or the country, even if he were inclined to trouble himself with such matters, which he isn’t.
Liberals are not blessed with an appreciation of irony. Thus they won’t see that it’s their own duplicity that will ultimately do them in. Nor will they recognize that their beloved historic presidency will be ruined, not by the hapless Republicans they demonize, but by the Democrats themselves.
