| Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said that "as the Romans could not disconnect Israel from Jerusalem, so will diplomats from the UN or the European Union be unable to do so". Speaking at a cultural event in Jerusalem, he warned against one-sided moves by the Palestinians. "If one-sided decisions are made it will halt everything and Israel will no longer be obligated to honor accords made since Oslo.
