Chavez “The Chavelin Colorado” chasing ghosts in Copenhagen

By Rodrigo Pardo Thursday, December 17, 2009

imageAfter his speech at the comedic Copenhagen summit, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez got several standing ovations, all for attacking capitalism and wealthy nations. “Our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell….let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us,” Chavez told delegates.

Some were surprised that Chavez got applause for his ghost busting. But what would you expect from a bunch of people who believe in climate change theories that have been fabricated for decades?

The misery of socialism 101 can be found just by looking at Chavez’s country after 10 years of socialism. When Chavez isn’t ghost busting, he should try out as a star in the the famous Mexican television series, “El Chapulin Colorado” (The Red Grasshopper in English). Then just like El Chapulin he can always say, “Oh, who can help me now?”

If only Chavez’s speeches were as brief as his 3-minute showers!
