E-Mail - A Word from Israel

Note:  I post very few E-mails, but the following note from someone living in Israel who expressed his thoughts are heartwarming.   Therefore, I am sharing this one with everyone.  Keep in mind that I translate his letter from Hebrew to English.  Bee Sting

Of the main reasons, to flights - long battle

That the United States, came in at the beginning of the war against Iraq, she would not bring Israel from a hidden reason and not famous. The U.S. argued that Israel can not communicate with the pilots of the U.S., and it will cause much confusion. But The reason was famous, that if Israel also join, the Arab countries interpret, from the coalition. (the truth, that they did not help at all to the U.S. in this war and also spread very quickly.)

Israel is a long time, getting used to the armies of many nations, and one of the targets - the drawer of Israel, to join the Air Force of the U.S. in the U.S. war against the common enemies.

That Israel, meanwhile, make the experience , in cooperation with other air forces will be ready and more, join the Air Force to the American, or difficult tasks, that stood on the desk of the U.S. Army, as well as against terrorism, and also as something that must be done no matter what, and it is helpful also to Israel. practiced recently with the Air Force the U.S., the number of times, in the U.S., in Israel, and in other exercises in another European region, and more.Israel according to all opinions, can / could help to U.S. forces more than any other army, and Israel would like, in violation of terrorism in infrastructure. There are other reasons, that one of them, training for an attack on Iran.

My note:
From what I understand from this individual's letter is that while Israel wished to join the coalition in the fight against terrorism, at the beginning of the war in Iraq, the U.S. refused Israel's offer to assist, so as not to offend the Arabs.  (Even though there was no assistance from the Arab countries throughout these long years in America's fight against the War on Terror.)

That Israel's IDF has trained oftentimes, in both the United States and Israel, and also in European countries a number of times and it is Israel's heart's desire to fight along side the U.S. military in the on-going War on Terror.

This information is of no secret to anyone, as unlike the U.S. newspapers, Israel's Press and Media coverage is extensive whenever the U.S. and Israel are in training together.  However, what is not often heard is a voice, clearly expressing his desire to work along side the U.S. to fight against terrorism.

I consider myself privileged to receive this letter today.  For me, it is a tribute to the six Israelis who died in the helicopter crash in Romania.
