President Obama “quietly breached years of protocol” Saturday by leaving the White House with no press pool, according to The Associated Press.
Before members of the press were scheduled to assemble for the day’s pool, Obama left the White House to, according to aides, attend one of his daughter’s soccer games. From AP:
After Obama left, a press aide hastily gathered members of the press who happened to be at the White House early. They rushed to a van and left the White House to catch up with the president. Too late. By the time, the press van appeared to arrive at the president's location, the press was told he was already departing. Time to go back to the White House.
Reporters and photographers didn't have a chance to see him or his vehicle to verify his presence at any location.
Although nobody outside the White House or the press may have noticed, Obama broke years of tradition and protocol by leaving the White House without the press on his short trip.

The Press/Media are for the most part, all too happy to please Obama and print whatever he wishes - no matter if it is the "truth". However, since he lacks understanding about protocol, bows to kings of foreign nations, walks away and leaves an "ally" in mid-sentence, because a meeting is not going Obama's "way", whereby showing his lack of respect towards world leaders, , there is nothing surprising about Obama's ignorance when it comes to being polite and respectful. It is a shame that this President feels the world evolves around him - just an Emperor with No Clothes, living in the Land of Fairytales. Bee Sting
