It didn’t happen, they weren’t there, they didn’t know about it, and they were only following orders anyway.
The Holy Trinity of the Left consists of Franklin Roosevelt the Father, Barack Obama the Son, and Lyndon Baines Johnson as the Holy Ghost. Even the mainstream Democratic Party reveres Roosevelt, who was elected to four terms, as the greatest Democrat who ever lived: the father of the New Deal, Social Security, and a host of other Federal programs that the Constitution had never envisioned.
The ugly truth is, however, that Roosevelt’s programs did not get the United States out of the Great Depression, and may in fact have made it worse. Social Security is a criminally fraudulent pyramid scheme whose initial success, like those of the schemes for which Charles Ponzi and Bernard Madoff went to prison, relied on ten or more participants (workers) at the bottom for every one at the top. The only way to sustain such a scheme is with birth rates similar to those in the Third World as opposed to those of an industrialized country, and the system is now paying out more than it takes in. Roosevelt also shipped Jewish refugees back to Nazi Germany, put American citizens in concentration camps because of their racial origin, and then sold out Eastern Europe at the Yalta Conference. Today’s Wall Street Journal reported that Roosevelt also engaged in the equivalent of outright Holocaust denial.
We first read about the Katyn Forest massacre in a book called “These are the Russians,” which was published during the Second World War. The Soviets claimed to have “found” a mass grave in which the Nazis had thrown the bodies of thousands of Poles. The same book claimed that the Finns, whose country the Soviets had invaded, cut off the heads of captured Russians, boiled them, and displayed them as trophies.
The Russians’ story about Katyn was believable because of the Nazis’ racial policies toward Poles but this was one rare instance in which the Nazis were not guilty of genocide (due only to lack of opportunity as opposed to intent); the Soviets had murdered the Poles themselves. As reported by Bret Stephens’ “The Fog over Katyn Forest,”
- Today, the facts about Katyn are not in doubt. In the spring of 1940, 22,000 Polish prisoners of war—most of them army officers, but also thousands of leading members of the Polish intelligentsia—were systematically murdered by the Soviet secret police on direct orders from Joseph Stalin.
- …In one of history’s richer ironies, the massacre was first discovered and publicized by the Nazis in 1943. That made it that much easier for the Soviets to dismiss the revelation as German propaganda to cover up a German crime, a line the U.S. and Britain were only too happy to adopt to propitiate their wartime ally. The behavior of the Roosevelt administration was particularly disgraceful: As Rutgers Professor Adam Scrupski has noted, the U.S. Office of War Information “implicitly threatened to remove licensure from the Polish language radio stations in Detroit and Buffalo if they did not cease broadcasting the details of executions.”
In other words, Franklin Roosevelt not only suppressed the truth of Katyn, he threatened to silence anybody who revealed it. This makes him no better than a common Holocaust denier, and this is the God whom our political Left (e.g. National “Jewish” Democratic Council, SEIU, Organizing for America) worships.
